I work in the vicinity of the United Nations so I see Diplomat plated cars all day long. On any given day I'll see multiple S550, E Class, 5 Series, 7 Series, ML, GL, A8, Escalades, Tahoes, MKZs and Avalons (for those not so baller diplomats).
However on a rare occasion I'll see something a little more interesting like a S63, S8, or even a Chevy SS that someone here on Oppo posted about. But today I came upon the most unassuming of them all. The only difference between this and the S550 is a slightly different lower fascia, more slats across the grill, a quad pipe exhaust and the tiniest V12 badge on the front fender.
Puts out 523 HP and 612 lb-Ft at 1900rpm.
As the market shifts to turbo 4's and twin turbo V6/V8s it's nice to see something still packing a V12 that isn't an outright exotic.

Its also armored- look at the distortion in the rear glass caused by the lamination. and the excessively large borders to cover different framing.

Whoa didn't realize that but you are right. The plate codes are for Rwanda, not sure what kind of beef they are in but the likely chance of your car getting shot up in NYC is nil.

Rwanda? Probably because they could spend a few hundred grand for a diplomatic car.

I’m saying tho armored car with bullet proof glass? Unless the Pres of Rwanda is sitting in that thing I think it’s mad overboard.

I think it was a case of someone with the keys to a tax payer funded piggy bank from which to buy a fancy-ass diplomatic ride and charge it back to the people of Rwanda.
